Dr Anne Farrell
Consultant Dermatologist Dr. Anne Farrell graduated from Oxford University Medical School. She gained extensive experience in both adult general internal medicine and paediatrics at the Queens Medical Centre, University Hospital of Nottingham, where she obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians for adults and the Diploma in Child Health. She is one of only a handful of UK dermatologists to have both the adult FRCP and Diploma in Child Health.
Following that she completed full time Specialist Training in dermatology as a Dermatology Registrar at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital, and Dermatology Senior Registrar in Oxford.
She also undertook a graduate fellowship in lasers and aesthetic dermatology at the University of Miami as well as attachments with leading cosmetic/laser dermatologists in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Utah, California and Atlanta.
She was appointed as Consultant Dermatologist in 1999, initially in Tunbridge Wells, and then as Consultant Dermatologist at the University of Wales, Cardiff and St George’s Hospital Medical School.
For more than 24 years in full time dermatology she has been active in teaching dermatology and research, both nationally and internationally, and has published more than 80 scientific articles, abstracts and book chapters on a variety of dermatology subjects. She regularly participates in the most influential international meetings to ensure she offers the most advanced treatments. She was awarded a higher Doctor of Medicine Degree (DM) from the University of Oxford for her published research thesis and work. The clinic is also recognised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and JCCP (Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners) formerly called Treatments You Can Trust.

She continues to teach regularly on the internationally recognised Cardiff postgraduate diploma in dermatology and other postgraduate courses. She regularly participates in the most influential international conferences and visits overseas centres, particularly in the US, to ensure that Dermatology Consulting uses only the most advanced treatment techniques for addressing skin conditions.
